Elisa Ghysels is a Belgian artist based in London using live performance, costume, immersive sets and multi-sensory environments as her mediums to experiment with the aesthetics of our reality and our fantasies.
She has graduated from BA Performance Design in Central Saint Martins with first class honours in June 2018 and has been a resident artist at Robert Wilson's Watermill Center in New York and at La Casa Na Ilha in Sao Paulo.
As well as freelancing as an Art Director, Elisa has worked at Villa Eugénie in the creation department working on trend watching and sustainable design, at Family LTD in London as Creative Coordinator delivering the creative pitches for the company's clients, at My Beautiful City as Creative Lead, supervising all creative aspects of their productions and at the University of the Arts London in BA Design for Branded Spaces as an Associate Lecturer focusing on Sustainable and Ethical Design.
